Notes: The limestone and sandstone of the hills of the Horn, reaching up east of Wolxheim, serve as a unique setting for terroir-driven wines. Stones at the surface protect the soil, retain heat and aid in the intense ripening of the grapes. Highly aromatic with herbal, citrus and vegetal notes, all backed by profound tension and minerality. Complex and driven texture, all finishing with mouth-watering and compelling salinity. The larger alcohol and body are reflective of the warm temperatures of the millésime. Aging potential 8+ years.
